The BAEKEN Onboarding Tool project is focused on creating an onboarding platform for the company BAEKEN. BAEKEN is a project management and consultancy organization that specializes in supporting large, complex construction projects. The core of this platform is management of information provided by clients in the onboarding process, but it also has additional features such as appointment scheduling, and information sharing with clients to improve the efficiency of their operations.

The project was started from scratch by Delta students, thus encompassing not only the web-based application’s frontend and backend, but also its supporting infrastructure and database. This in combination with the integration of (and feedback on) the prototype into BAEKENs processes provides students with opportunities to develop their skills in business processes, web design, software development, and infrastructure.
