Delta ICT & Finance and Control

The Innovation Academy presents a unique challenge centered on the development of an AI system designed to automate the creation of analytical presentations based on annual financial data. This initiative is undertaken collaboratively by students from two academic disciplines: ICT and Finance and Control.

This challenge is conducted in partnership with SPIE Nederland, a renowned leader in technological innovation dedicated to enhancing the living environment through sustainable and forward-thinking solutions. SPIE Nederland offers a comprehensive range of services aimed at optimizing the sustainability of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial processes. As part of the international SPIE Group, the organization operates with a global workforce of approximately 50,000 employees and achieved a revenue of €8.7 billion in 2023.

The Innovation Academy team has selected Python as the primary programming language for this project. Known for its versatility and efficiency, Python is particularly well-suited for data-driven applications, making it an ideal choice for the goals of this initiative.

In addition to Python, the project leverages cutting-edge technologies such as OpenAI's advanced AI capabilities and a secured Microsoft Azure environment. These tools provide the necessary infrastructure and computational power to bring the project to life, ensuring robust performance and data security throughout the development process.
